Strong competition training sessions today!! We are two weeks out from JKAA Nationals in Queensland, with 9 competitors (plus an awesome support crew) travelling over and we have a HUGE contingent going to compete at our friends, the TSKF WA State Championships as well!

🥋🏆 PILBARA REGIONAL KARATE CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026 – REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN! 🏆🥋

We are very excited to announce that the Pilbara Regional Karate Championships for Karratha/Dampier/Wickham students are back again this year! 🎉

⏰ Starts at 11:30 AM
📍 Karratha Leisureplex (fitness room next to the cafe)

After the fantastic success of last year’s Championships, we are looking forward to another exciting day of karate, friendship and great competition!

The Championships are a wonderful opportunity for our students to demonstrate the skills they have been working so hard to develop, challenge themselves, gain competition experience and support their fellow karateka. 🥋💪

🔸 KIHON – Yellow belt students and below
🔸 KATA – All students
🔸 TEAM KATA – All students
🔸 KUMITE – Orange belt students and above

💰 Registration Fee: $20
🍴 Food will be provided

Whether this is your first competition or you have competed before, we encourage all eligible students to take part. It’s not just about winning medals — it’s about having the courage to step onto the floor, doing your best and showing true karate spirit. ❤️

Family and friends are also very welcome to come along, cheer on our competitors and enjoy the day with us!

STRONG BODIES AND STRONG SPIRITS TONIGHT!!

Another successful grading at the Hilton Dojo tonight, with some awesome karate being demonstrated, despite some pretty big nerves!

3 years of training - we are now at 2 locations with nearly 100 students.

Thank you so much to everyone who has shown up to each class, giving their faith in us as coaches as well as contributing to our awesome culture across both clubs. We love Mushin Karate and we hope you do too!!
