Congratulations to our eight talented competitors who were selected through auditions and bravely took to the stage today. You were amazing!

A big thank you to our wonderful choir for their musical support and to Miss Shenfield who volunteered her time to make the event such a success. An awesome job by everyone involved, including our judges, Mrs Porter and Mrs Kyle - whose job was very difficult!👏🎶

🌟 Education Assistant Appreciation Week 🌟

This week, we celebrate and thank our wonderful Education Assistants for the important role they play at Willandra.

Every day, our EAs support learning, encourage students, solve problems and step in wherever they are needed - often with plenty of patience, flexibility and good humour!

Thank you for the care, energy and commitment you bring to our students and staff. We truly value and appreciate all that you do. Willandra would not be the same without you! 💙

We’re pleased to share two FREE services available to support local families with young children:

🛡️ Protective Behaviours Workshop
📅 Thursday 17 September | ⏰ 12:30–2:00pm
📍 CPC Westfield Park, Camillo
Creche, afternoon tea and take-home resources are available.

🚐 Early Years Transport Service
Need help getting your child to appointments or early years programs? A FREE trial transport service is available for families with children aged 0–4 years who may experience difficulty accessing local health, learning and development services. Drivers are trained early childhood educators with the appropriate checks.

It was wonderful to welcome our Kindy and Pre-Primary families to Willandra for our Boost-Ed Parent & Carer Workshops.

Across the two sessions, families explored simple, fun and practical strategies to support reading and writing at home, with plenty of hands-on learning along the way.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and invested their time in learning ways to help their children’s confidence and learning flourish. 💙📚
