Peacdebuilder's is back for 2021! This Saturday marks the UN International Day for Non-Violence and All participants receive a certificate of participation.
This year’s Peacebuilder’s Conference marks the UN International Day of Non-Violence. We invite you to join us for a special workshop with ELAINE PRATLEY who will unpack Knowing Your Conflict Style. Elaine is a peace entrepreneur and broker of partnerships, currently completing a PhD at the University of Melbourne on peacebuilding and conflict transformation. She is also a Rotary Peace Fellow, cul
tural intelligence trainer, member of the Asia New Zealand Leadership Network, and an ambassador for the Institute for Peace and Economics, with degrees in law and international relations. Elaine's practice in peacebuilding developed during her years representing the New Zealand government as a Crown Prosecutor, negotiating multilateral agreements for the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the New Zealand Agency for International Development (NZAID), managing the international law team for China’s biggest law firm Zhong Lun, co-founding a Beijing-based corporate agency that ran MasterCard’s China-wide ‘Priceless’ loyalty campaigns, and in those daily, frustrating moments of lovingly reminding her kids to not hit each other (‘because kids, hitting is not good’). In 2020, Elaine was appointed Regional Leader (Asia/Oceania) for the inaugural Global Peace Conference and is now Co-Chair of the Global Peace Conference 2021. She has lived in Switzerland, Malaysia, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand and China and loves adventurous eating.
