🐨 Year 4 Takes on Lone Pine!

On Friday, our Year 4 students had a fantastic day exploring Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary! It was wonderful to see our classroom learning come to life as students explored food chains, food webs and wildlife conservation while getting up close with some incredible Australian wildlife.

📌ARE YOU READY FOR 2027 – ENROL EARLY!

Planning to join Corymbia State School in 2027? We encourage families to enrol early so your child can take full advantage of our transition program, meet our staff, become familiar with our school and feel ready for their first day.

Please also be aware that Corymbia State School’s catchment area will change from 1 January 2027. Families currently living within our catchment are encouraged to complete their enrolment as early as possible.

It is important to note that students already attending are not impacted by changes to catchment areas, and students meeting the specific criteria outlined in the School EMP will continue to be considered as eligible for enrolment, for example, siblings of currently enrolled students.

🚗 An important reminder to our Corymbia families,

The speed limit in our school car park is 10km/h. Please slow down, stay alert and keep an eye out for other children and adults moving through the area.

As a large and busy primary school, drop-off and pick-up times can get congested. We ask everyone to please be patient, be kind and allow a little extra time as you move through the car park.

A few extra minutes is always worth it to keep our students, families and staff safe.

Prep - Year 6 Parent Teacher interviews this semester will be held on Wednesday 9 September in the school hall from 2:45pm. Bookings will not be accepted after 2:30pm on Friday 4 September.

These ten minute interviews/conversations provide you with an excellent opportunity to discuss your child’s progress with their teacher.

New High School Logan Reserve are now taking enrolments for 2027.

📣 ENROLMENT INFORMATION SESSIONS

Planning to enrol your child at the New Secondary School – Logan Reserve for 2027? We would love to meet you!

As we prepare to welcome our first students in 2027, we are now accepting enrolment applications from families who are currently residing within our school catchment area.

Prospective families are invited to join our Administration and Leadership Teams at one of our upcoming Enrolment Information Sessions.

These sessions are a great opportunity to receive assistance with navigating the enrolment process, discuss your child's enrolment and ask questions.
