Emmanuel College Gold Coast

Emmanuel College Gold Coast Inspiring intelligent, hopeful engagement with our world - because the world needs people of character who pursue truth. Reputation is very hardly won.

Social Media Policy
The Social Media pages of Emmanuel College have been created as an informative and positive forum for students, teachers and parents alike. We hope you enjoy our regular updates and commentary on current school events as well as student achievements and the school as a whole. We endorse supportive behaviour and a strict anti-bullying policy. The College reserves the right to re

move any comments at any time, for any reason, or to block individuals who abuse or misuse the Social Media pages, however we do hope this won’t be necessary. Our policies prohibit disrespectful, abusive or inappropriate posts or comments and naming or tagging of specific employees or students in a negative way

The College has a vested commercial interest in maintaining the reputation of the College for the benefit of its past, present and future enrolments. The reputation of an independent College takes a long time and much effort to achieve and to sustain, and it has a commercial value. Parents, in contracting to send their students to the College are made fully aware of the Christian ethos and focus of the school. The basis of the Contract of enrolment with parents for their children’s education, is a relationship of mutual support and commitment to College values which are, themselves, non-negotiable
Any inappropriate online activity will be treated seriously, removed, and the perpetrator should expect a response which may include warnings, and/or disciplinary penalties including the possibility of suspension and termination of continuing enrolment, both for that student and other siblings of the family in question. Should you have an issue that you wish to address, please contact us offline in a respectful and private environment. We thank you for your continual support.

Over the term, we’ve shared the vision and priorities shaping the next chapter of Emmanuel College.

You’ve heard from our leaders about belonging, learning, and character, and how these come to life in the everyday experience of your child.

Like a well-tended garden, this work takes time, care and a shared commitment.

In this final video, Mr Brown reflects on what this means for our community, and the journey ahead.

Because together, we are shaping people of good character who pursue truth.

Battle of the Bands is an annual tradition of talent and enthusiasm combined in a house challenge with our senior students bringing their best to battle it out to see who will take the win!

This year we added some extra flair, food and fireworks so our whole school community could come and support their house.

Thank you to our annual sponsors and special guest act Ethan Beer and his band who really helped elevate our inaugural Eats and Beats evening.

Congratulations to Luther House for once again winning this year’s Battle of the Bands ✨💙

As our Year 12 students move through the final days of their schooling journey, every opportunity to come together becomes that little bit more special.

Their recent Barn Dance was one of those memorable moments, with the College Hall filled with laughter, music and plenty of enthusiastic dancing.

With the countdown to graduation well and truly underway, it was a chance to step away from the demands of their upcoming exam block, enjoy time with friends and simply make the most of being together - creating memories, celebrating friendships and enjoying the moments that will become part of their Emmanuel story long after their final school day.

When you casually make the front page… 🐶

We’re thrilled to see our beloved Mylo and Maisy - along with our Principal, Dan Brown - featured on the front page of the Gold Coast Bulletin!

We’re incredibly grateful for the leadership Dan brings to Emmanuel, and for the special contribution Mylo and Maisy make to our College community.

Our annual Golf Day was one for the record books, with our largest field of players yet - and even a hole-in-one!

It was a fantastic day on the green, filled with friendly competition, plenty of opportunities to connect and network, great prizes, refreshments and, most importantly, wonderful company. It was terrific to see so many members of our community come together and enjoy the day.

A sincere thank you to our annual sponsors Balanced Beings, BNI, Cronin Miller Litigation, Emerald Lakes Golf Club, Medland Orthodontics, Ray White TMG – Matt Hughes and Ringers Western. Your ongoing support helps make community events like this possible and adds so much to the occasion.

We also extend our thanks to our generous hole sponsors The Bird Cage, Class N Glass, The House of Golf, Gatworks Engineering, Procon Consulting and Hound and Stag for supporting this year’s event.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to making Golf Day 2026 our biggest yet. We’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year!

Character through experience.

Our Year 10 students recently spent ten days in remote parts of the Northern Territory, stepping away from the familiarity of everyday life and immersing themselves in an environment that was both challenging and breathtakingly beautiful.

Experiences like these encourage students to look beyond themselves, build resilience, and develop a deeper appreciation of others and the world around them. They are not simply optional extras - they are an integral part of the Emmanuel journey and the formation of character.

Here’s a glimpse into their unforgettable adventure…
