Unbreakable Gold Coast is a supportive health and fitness community for parents who want to get stronger, healthier, and more confident — not just for themselves, but for their families. are the foundations for handling life’s challenges and creating the outcomes that truly matter. It’s about showing up, building consistency, and leading by example — so your kids can see what strength, discipline, and self-respect look like in real life. Unbreakable runs structured group training sessions on the Gold Coast, with morning and evening sessions available Monday to Saturday. Sessions are held locally at Gaven State School, making it accessible for busy parents balancing work, family, and life. If you’re ready to invest in yourself so you can show up better for the people who rely on you, you’re in the right place. Unbreakable is suitable for all fitness levels. Every session can be scaled up or down depending on where you’re at right now. Whether you’re just starting or returning after a break, you’ll be supported. What type of training do you do? We focus on strength, conditioning, and overall physical capacity, combined with mindset and accountability. Training is challenging but achievable, with an emphasis on consistency rather than extremes. Is this just a gym or bootcamp? Unbreakable is a community. Training is the vehicle, but the bigger goal is building confidence, resilience, and habits that carry over into everyday life. Who is Unbreakable for? Unbreakable is designed primarily for parents who want to improve their physical and mental health, regain confidence, and lead by example for their families. What if I’m busy or inconsistent? That’s exactly who this is for. Sessions run mornings and evenings, and the community is built to support real life — not punish you for it. Where are sessions held? Sessions are held locally at Gaven State School, with easy access for Gold Coast families. How do I get started? Send us a message or comment on a post. We’ll help you figure out the best starting point with zero pressure.

On Sunday 16th of August, the team from Primal Breathwork drove down from the Sunshine Coast before sunrise to run us through something most of the group had never done before.

Controlled breathwork. No weights, no reps, just 90 minutes of confronting our own nervous systems as a team.

By the end, the reflections said it all. Some had visions. Others felt emotions they didn’t see coming. A few described something close to an out of body experience. Whatever uncertainty the group walked in with, everyone walked out with something profound and unexpected.

Because sometimes the biggest challenge isn’t physical, it’s mental and emotional. We train our bodies for the physical fight, but Sunday was about training our minds and hearts for the ones that happen internally. And that takes a different kind of courage.

Huge thanks to the Primal Breathwork crew for making the trip 🙏

Something new I’m building 👇

The best part of my job, hands down, is watching someone realise they can do something they never thought they could.

That look when the fear and self-doubt drop away and they walk away with a massive smile on their face, knowing they did the thing. I’ve been lucky enough to see that happen over and over for the last 12 years, and it never gets old.

So I’m starting something new: I’m opening up my coaching to people with disabilities, under a new part of what I do called Unbreakable Ability. Same coaching, same belief that everyone’s capable of more than they think, just making it accessible through NDIS funding.

I’m brand new to this side of things, so I’m not pretending to be an expert in the NDIS system. What I do know is fitness, strength, and how to help someone push past what they thought their limit was, and I want to bring that to people who don’t always get access to a coach who genuinely specialises in it.

Right now I’m looking for a small number of people to start this journey with me! So if you’re self-managed or plan-managed under your NDIS plan (or you know someone who is), and this sounds like a perfect fit for you, then send me a message. Would love to have a chat. 💪😎

Luke’s been a constant force in the Unbreakable team for over 6 years. Through a divorce, and the hard days, he never stopped working on himself physically and mentally, and every one of his kids have been watching.

His son Ethan is 19. A dozen times over the years he said “I’ll come down tomorrow, dad” but that never turned into today. Until 6 months ago 👊
One exhausting session a week steadily got easier as Ethan built his strength and fitness. Fast forward to this week and he’s already trained 3 times in the last 2 days, and he is absolutely smashing it 💪😎

His stepdaughter Marley has been training with us for about a year now. When she first started, asking her to do the warm up jog was like asking her to climb Everest, she’d dig her heels in and that was that. These days she’s fit, strong, and chooses the harder version of every exercise without being asked. And she doesn’t stop there, she’s the one talking her teammates into pushing past their own comfort zone too.

And then there’s Maya, the youngest. She started out shy and unsure of herself. Now she’s stronger, fitter, and lights up every time she talks about playing touch footy, that passion in her voice says everything about how far she’s come.

That’s a dad who never gave up modelling what showing up looks like and 3 kids who took it and ran with it. Leadership doesn’t get more real than that.

Tag someone whose “never give up” attitude ended up inspiring more than just themselves 👊

What happens when you stop accepting crap at work

Tash trains twice a day some weeks. Full-time working mum, always the first one smiling when she walks in.

Back in May at the Unbreakable Retreat, she jumped off a cliff, climbed a mountain on ropes, swam across a dam — stuff she never would’ve done a year ago. But the real test came after. She had a toxic work environment eating away at her, tried everything to fix it, and when it wouldn’t budge, she had the courage to walk away and go find something better. She didn’t quit on herself — she just changed the plan.

That’s what Unbreakable Mentality actually looks like. Not never failing — failing, adjusting, and staying in the fight anyway.

Anyone else had to walk away from something before they could move forward? Drop it below. 👊

This weekend our Unbreakable crew took over the GC Marathon.

Bec ran her first ever 5k, ten years after breaking her femur and having to relearn how to walk.

Hafi finished the full marathon in 4:20 despite being diagnosed with anaemia and the resulting iron infusion messing with his gut for weeks beforehand.

Adrian, he’s 6”4 and 135kg but still finished his second marathon ever in-spite of going through a career change earlier this year and dealing with a host of injuries.

And my uncle Steve crossed the line strapped in tape, eight weeks after a car crash that affected his training.

Every single one of them had a reason to not show up. None of them took it. Same goes for Jason, Tracy, my dad, Darren, and Liz — all out there getting it done at their own distance, no excuses.

Tag someone who’s waiting for the “perfect time” to just take action 👊

10 days ago, a group of ordinary people did some extraordinary things.

They climbed mountains.

Leapt off cliffs.

Paddled and swam across lakes.

Opened up about the doubts, and challenges they’ve been carrying for years.

But the real challenge was never the mountain, the cliff, or the water.

It was fear.

Fear of failure.
Fear of judgement.
Fear of getting it wrong.
Fear of taking the first step into the unknown.

At the Unbreakable Retreat, every challenge is designed to remind people of something important:

Confidence doesn’t come before action.

It comes because of action.

Every time we face a fear, have a difficult conversation, take a leap of faith, or do something we didn’t think we were capable of, we expand our view of what’s possible.

Not just in fitness.

In life.

Because the same courage it takes to leap from a cliff is the courage it takes to:

apply for the job
start the business
leave the unhealthy relationship
ask for help
set boundaries
back yourself

It’s not about being fearless.

It’s about realising we are capable of moving forward even when fear is present.

As Sir Edmund Hillary famously said:

“It is not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves.”

Thoughts from Nepal:

I think ideally we’d all like to live a long prosperous and fantastic life.

But if given the choice between quality of life and quantity of life, I think I would pick the former.

We returned from our Himalayan adventure just two days ago and my head and my heart are still in the mountains, still with the team of lads that I spent the 3 1/2 weeks exploring that incredible landscape with.

Now don’t get me wrong. Theres nowhere else and no other group of people I’d rather come home to, it’s just going to take a little adjustment getting back to our lives.

After a few reflection here are some of the things that I wanted to share with you that I took away from that trip:

1) We have no idea what we’re missing out on, and we also have no idea how good we’ve got it.

It took guts saying yes to go on that journey. It wasn’t easy and it wasn’t cheap, but my God was it worth it.

On the other hand I got to see what real poverty looks like, and it made me realise that the only reason why I am where I am and why they are where they are is just dumb luck. And I am incredibly grateful for that dumb luck.

2) Even Sherpas trip.

We met some absolutely crazy dudes on our trip. We sat at a table with 6 Sherpas, between them they’d summited Everest 50 times. Yet you would never know it because they don’t brag about it. It’s just something they do.

Despite their superhuman qualities they still trip and fall over and even occasionally get sick.

Point is, even the best make mistakes, doesn’t mean they’re not the best.

3) The journey is the destination.

Most of the joy and meaning comes from the process of moving oneself from A to B, not from the moment when we arrive at B.

I summited two Himalayan peaks. I spent approximately 10mins atop each of them. This was only possible due to the months (and I guess even years) of training beforehand to prepare our bodies to be for that environment.

Whilst the achievement feels great, some of the most memorable moments had nothing to do with summits. It was things like listening to the Sherpa’s stories, banter with the guys, and singing karaoke with the locals that stand out just as much. The journey was epic 🙏

19/03/2026

3.5 weeks, -20° temps, 6200m of elevation, and a once in a lifetime experience with great mates 🙏

Tomorrow morning, I’ll be heading to Nepal as part of a five man crew to go and summit two Himalayan peaks over the next 23 days🏔️

We will be trekking in some of the most remote regions in the world, camping on the side of snowcapped mountains, climbing with ice axes, and soaking up the Nepalese culture!

If you’d like to see how the journey unfolds feel free to add/follow me on Facebook and/or Instagram to check out the daily updates as we take on this epic adventure.

Can’t wait to take on this challenge with my friends, and to share the journey with you.
✌️😎

Being Unbreakable doesn’t mean life stops testing you.

It means you keep taking steps forward anyway. 👊

An Unbreakable mindset isn’t about perfection or endless motivation.
It’s about recognising when doubt, procrastination, or ego creeps in — and choosing to course-correct instead of quitting.

Progress doesn’t come from never stumbling.
It comes from staying in environments that help you stand back up and keep moving. 💪
