Sydney Secondary College Blackwattle Bay students were amazing with the workshop delivered by Amy Jones in the classroom this week! Students spent the day learning 3D embroidery stitches. In the ‘hoop’ was Botanical Stitch Along and a customised indigenous design that works within draft Stage 6 Textiles and Design Syllabus. Amy also gave a designer presentation that’s fits in with the learning outcomes for ‘contemporary designer investigation’ within the stage 6 Textiles and Design Syllabus.
Student left motivated to keep stitching exclaiming how it was the best ‘incursion’ ever.
