Our Year 6 students had an out-of-this-world experience this week with an immersive incursion from Starr's Planetarium!
Inside the 360° 4K mobile dome, science communicator Gary Starr brought our NSW Science and Technology unit to life. With content sourced directly from NASA and other leading space organisations, our young astronomers explored the Solar System, mapped distant galaxies, and investigated the real-world science behind space exploration.
Here is what a couple of our Year 6 space explorers had to say:
⭐ "I liked seeing the stars and constellations move across the dome." Rachel
🚀 "The documentary movie about humans exploring space and the possibility of landing on Mars was fascinating and educational. I learnt so much." Alysha
A huge thank you to Starr's Planetarium for providing such an engaging, curriculum-aligned experience to inspire our future scientists and astronauts!
