Light Pass Primary School Welcome to Light Pass Primary School. We are an R-6 site, located in Light Pass, South Australia.

Light Pass Primary is a small R – 6 school situated in the beautiful Barossa Valley. The school is located 3 km outside of Nuriootpa between Penrice and Kalimna Roads. It is not a zoned school, and as such has openings for enrolments for students living outside of Light Pass. Our school has beautiful grounds, nestled between vineyards, with plenty of space for outdoor play and sporting activities.

We have a large, student maintained vegetable garden, seasonal fruit trees and free range chooks. Our large undercover basketball court allows for outdoor play all year round. Light Pass Primary School has a friendly, passionate and experienced group of educators who bring diverse knowledge and experience in various specialised learning areas including physical education, The Arts, Indonesian and social emotional learning. As a small school, our class sizes are kept small enabling teachers to provide a comprehensive learning program which caters for the learning needs of all students. We are committed to providing a quality, comprehensive learning program determined by the learning needs of our students that is relevant and interesting with a focus on quality literacy and numeracy skills. Our supportive learning environment encourages and maintains student wellbeing in line with our values of Caring, Success and Responsibility. There is a very strongly supported Playgroup for pre-school children operating on Friday mornings during school terms from 9.00am to 11.00am. Lots of fun activities are planned and, where possible, link to school events. New pre-schoolers and their parents, grandparents or carers are very welcome. Please contact us to enquire about enrolment or to book a school tour.

Today, our students had the incredible opportunity to join a special Zoom session with Andy Lee, author of the much-loved Do Not Open This Book series and many more! 📖🤩

The session was interactive, engaging and full of laughs, and our students absolutely loved getting involved. It was a wonderful way to celebrate the joy of reading and bring the magic of books to life! 💙📚

Today we come together to honour and remember the bravery, sacrifice, and dedication of the men and women who have served, and continue to serve, our country on this ANZAC Day. ❤️
