We are descendants of the Yuwi and Ghungalu people and love to share our culture. We are a local Mackay company and descendants of the Yuwi and Ghungalu people.

We love to share our first nations culture with everyone and have designed an early years First Nations program that introduces our knowledge in a fun and interactive program that captivates children and helps them learn and understand First Nations culture. If you are interested in learning about our program please email [email protected] or inbox us

2 weeks ago the Younga Yarns went to the Joy in Action C&K - The Creche & Kindergarten Association Limited conference. We went to share what we do especially the new Udya Walbu educational platform and our professional development training for educators.

We had an amazing time not only meeting the educators but all the other vendors who offer some amazing services.

Im not the best at remembering to take photos all I got was these 2 in the quiet moments. But all the food I ate on the trip was well documented lol šŸ˜‹

Today we were at the Mackay Festival of Art Food and Wine day sharing our knowledge on Ochre.

People of all ages were able to create their own chemical free paint, learn about the other uses of Ochre and then with tree resin glue and create their own artwork.

Thank you Food & Wine Festival, Mackay for giving us the opportunity to share with the wider community.

I even met one my little OSHC friends 🧔
