Get ready to train your core!
The two main muscles we train is the texture abdominus which is situated in the middle of your stomach and the external obliques which can be found on the sides of your stomach.
Some of my favourite exercises that target both of these muscles are crunches, Russian twists and the palof press!
Drop yours down below! 👇

As we welcome 2022, let’s start the year off right!
It’s goal setting time 🤩
Here are some tips to keep your fitness goals in sight;
1) Think about why you are setting this goal!
No matter what it is, make sure it’s meaning is important to you. This is going to help you keep up the motivation throughout the year 💪🏻
2) Finding the right workout plan for you
This year let’s find an exercise that you enjoy! Whether it’s cardio, machine weights, free weights, full body/ half body splits, if you find something that you love you’ll be consistent, push yourself harder and further and stick to it 🤸♀️🏋️♂️💪🏻
3) If your goal is nutrition based, finding a more flexible diet is always superior to a rigid diet!
Research shows that flexible dieting is better for weight loss psychology around food!
To finish off, come and see me , where I can make this all a reality!

Here are two final tips as to how to keep eating healthy as we come closer to Christmas! 🎅🏻
Honour your fullness!
You do not have to continue eating after you feel full and satisfied. If someone is pushing food on you, just simply say Thank you but I'm a little full at the moment.
Move your Body 🤸
Regardless of how we spend the day, there is always time to add in some exercise! Doesn't have to be the usual routine or scheduled.
If you are looking for some extra help with nutrition tips for the Christmas season or simple things to keep you moving over the holidays, there is still some time! 😉 come and see us at Northside Indoor Sport and Fitness

Here’s another tip on how to keep your eating habits healthy during the Christmas season 🎄
Keep your meals routine!
Avoid skipping meals or being overly hungry or specially Christmas Day. Don’t allow yourself to be ravenous as when you do get the chance to eat you’ll want to eat more and
become uncomfortably full 🤤

Asking yourself how am I going to do at healthy during the holidays?
Over the next couple of weeks I’ll be giving you a couple of tips and tricks!
1) don’t restrict or deprive yourself
Restriction of foods and drinks will only make it worse, as you will crave and overeat!
Instead try taking the guilt out of eating those items and remind yourself that you are allowed to eat those foods 😍
Remember everything in moderation ☺️
