Expression of Interest: Athletics West has just announced Bunbury will be hosting the 2027 Country Champs on January 15-17th. Please message or email Newman Athletics if you are interested in attending as we would love to have as many athletes there representing our town and club.
You do not need to qualify to register

Athletics Newman has been very fortunate this week and would like to extend a heartfelt thank‑you to Shane from Athletics Australia. Shane attended Monday’s training session and generously volunteered his time to deliver a coaching workshop for the committee yesterday afternoon. His guidance will help us implement the right techniques and drills on training days, supporting our athletes to build their skills, grow their knowledge, and have fun while doing it. After the workshop, the committee and kids joined the sprints session run by the Rec Centre and the Red Dirt Run Club, rounding out a fantastic afternoon of learning and community connection. See you all Sunday 😊

First round of competition tomorrow.

A huge thank you to Jono Smail for designing & supplying our new uniform and to "Galvins - Newman" for making sure that got to us in time for our first competition.

Reminder that parent involvement is absolutely necessary for athletics to run.

Please make sure your athletes have closed in shoes, drink bottle with water and wearing shorts.

Comp starts at 2pm...on EMU OVAL so please arrive prior so we can start promptly.
Shot Put, High Jump, Scissor, Long Jump h Triple Jump are on Goanna oval and throughout the comp each age group will move between the 2 ovals.
