PIN WEEK!
As part of a new initiative to celebrate the achievements of Year 12 students, the school will be awarding academic achievement pins to students during week 9 of this term. The achievement pins will be awarded to students who achieve above the course average for a subject. Students in the top 10% of each course will be awarded a gold pin to emphasise the hard work and consistency required to achieve such a feat in that subject. The school hopes that students will take pride in the acknowledgement of their hard work and wear it with pride leading up to the end of the Term and on graduation day. Further detail regarding the initiative can be found in the attached image.

NAIDOC Week 2026 | 50 Years of Deadly
Our NAIDOC Assembly and Smoking Ceremony provided a special opportunity for our students and staff to come together, celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, recognise the strength and resilience of First Nations peoples, and reflect on the importance of continuing to learn, listen and walk together.
A huge thank you to our Elders, community members, staff and students who contributed to making the morning so special. We are incredibly proud of the respect, pride and enthusiasm shown by our school community.

Year 10 Law and You students recently enjoyed an exciting excursion to Sydney, where they experienced the law in action beyond the classroom.
The day began with a visit to NSW Parliament, where students explored the historic chambers, learned about the law-making process, and gained a greater understanding of Australia’s system of government.
Students then visited the Justice and Police Museum, discovering the fascinating history of policing, crime, and the justice system in New South Wales through interactive exhibits and real-life case studies.
It was a fantastic opportunity for students to connect their classroom learning with authentic experiences, deepening their understanding of Australia’s legal and political systems.
