While Heart Starters First Aid Training didn’t take home the win at the Hunter Business Awards, walking into that room as a finalist in the Outstanding Education Service category after just over a year in business was a huge achievement.

Seeing Heart Starters up on the big screen alongside such established and professional education services was an incredibly special moment, and a reminder of just how far we have come in such a short time.

A huge thank you to the best of the best in the hairdressing industry, Elysian Hair by Mel, for organising the most beautiful day to celebrate us! There was plenty of pampering, loads of laughs, new friendships made and a whole lot of pride in what we’ve both created.

A big congratulations also to Rob from Group Fitness with Rob on being selected as a finalist. Not only is she a wonderful contributor to the health and wellbeing of our community, she’s also a fabulous neighbour.

And an equally huge thank you to every individual, business and community group who has supported Heart Starters along the way. Every booking, recommendation and positive review has helped us get here.

❤️ Our CPR initiative with Stockton Surf Life Saving Club was such a special community project, bringing 100 local people together to learn skills that could genuinely help save a life.

Over four incredible evenings, 100 local community members from Stockton & Fern Bay, completed CPR training through our community initiative at Stockton Surf Life Saving Club.

This program was proudly:

Seeing so many locals give up their evenings to learn these life-saving skills was inspiring.
