1956 — Elvis Presley’s "Don’t Be Cruel / Hound Dog" dominated the US charts for 11 weeks
1964 — The Beatles began recording "Beatles for Sale" during one of the most demanding periods of their career.
1967 — The legendary "Reading Festival" launched, featuring icons including Pink Floyd, Cream and Fleetwood Mac.
1979 — Led Zeppelin played their final UK show at Knebworth.
2014 — Australian pop-rock band 5 Seconds of Summer made history as the first Australian act to reach No. 1 on the US album chart with a debut album.
