👨‍🌾🥔🐓Year 2 had a fantastic day at Phoenix Park Farm last Wednesday🧑‍🌾🐑🐝Students learned about the animals, fed them, and explored the Hunter River to see how erosion changes the land. They checked out the potato crops and discovered they’ll be sold at local markets. We learned how bees collect and carry pollen, mixed our own soils, and chose seeds to take home and grow. There were plenty of laughs- especially when everyone reached into the worm farm. It was such a fun, hands on day full of learning for Year 2!
