At Little Gems, children’s safety always comes first. Under the guidance of our Safe Sleep Officer, Miss Jessica, all educators receive ongoing Red Nose Safe Sleep training to ensure best practice is embedded into our daily routines.
We conduct 10-minute sleep checks, complete safe sleep risk assessments, and follow comprehensive policies and procedures to provide every child with a safe and secure sleep environment.
Together, we are creating a culture where safe sleep is everyone’s responsibility. 💜✨

We had a wonderful morning at the Lavelle St Markets on Sunday, offering 🎨 FREE face painting and a fun Stay & Play area for local families to enjoy together! 🧸
✨These community events are also a great opportunity to share information about our FREE weekly Sensory Classes 🫧🌈, held every Wednesday from 9am–11am. Led by a qualified teacher 👩🏫, our classes provide children with engaging, developmentally appropriate sensory experiences while giving families the chance to connect and socialise. 💕

🕷️🌿 At Bush Kindy this week, the children made an exciting discovery a large spider sitting in the centre of its beautifully woven web! 🕸️✨
Curious to learn more, we captured a photo using the centre's technology and worked together to research what type of spider we had found. 📱
🔍 This allowed educators to scaffold the children's learning further, extending their curiosity and understanding of the natural world around them. 🌱
💚In this moment, you can see just how engaged and fascinated the children were as they closely observed the spider and its habitat. Experiences like these encourage inquiry, critical thinking, respect for nature, and a lifelong love of learning. 🥰🌿🕷️
