Last week, our beautiful Caterpillar Room, aka our Nursery, began planting the seeds of awareness around what Jeans for Genes Day represents. 💙 Through a fun and creative painting experience, our littlest learners were given the freedom to use their own creativity and imagination to decorate their very own jeans! 🎨👖

Last week, our Little Gems Nerang children celebrated National Science Week with exciting hands-on experiments throughout the centre! 🔬✨

Here’s a little peek at one of our colourful experiences, exploring the magic of milk and food colouring!🥛

🎨 Our little scientists watched in amazement as the colours expanded, swirled and mixed together, creating beautiful patterns while exploring cause and effect, colour mixing and early scientific concepts.

🌿🖤💛❤️ Last week at Little Gems Nerang, we proudly celebrated Living Our Truth, Children’s Day! Our Caterpillars explored their outdoor environment, collecting natural resources before using their special finds to create beautiful glue collages. 🍃🪵 Through exploring, collecting and creating, the children connected with nature, expressed their creativity and developed a deeper appreciation for the world around them. At Little Gems Nerang, we are proud to continue embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our everyday learning through meaningful, hands-on experiences. 🖤💛❤️🌿
