Have you got any online oversharing in your community? Point it out. Most oversharing isn’t intentional, people are just oblivious to the risks
1. Child's name
2. Mother's name
3. School name
4. Hobby location (swimming pool)
5. Year group (approximate age of child)
6. Favorite food (could be used by child predators to build a false rapport with the child)
7. Exterior view of the property which she lives at
8. House number
9. And most importantly, picture of the child.

That makes a lot of sense!
1. No 1:1 devices in primary schools
2. Paper and pen in high schools except when there is evidence that 1:1 device usage improves learning outcomes
3. No generative AI in a school-based setting.

Port Stephens Unplugged is launching in front of the community on Monday August 24th at St Philip's Christian College - Port Stephens. There will be plenty to learn in engaging presentations from our local psychologists and local parents sharing their stories.

We are planning to give away some 'offline' prizes on the night to attendees to celebrate things to come! We are looking forward to "Reconnect and Play Family Fun Days" in the future, and hope to see you there!
