💎Mrs Jamieson's final Joy Gem for the term celebrates our wonderful students.

🌞Yesterday was a joyful celebration of the diversity that makes our school special. Students and families brought so much imagination and creativity to their dress-ups, further celebrating the theme and the many ways we are all unique.

📘Across the school, lessons gave students an opportunity to increase their awareness of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This was important learning for our students, as they gain a greater understanding of how people with ASD can experience the world and what they can do to help.

💛The highlight of the day was seeing everyone come together for the colour event. Our Year 6 Parliament students took an idea and made it happen, creating a moment of fun and connection for our whole school. This is student voice lived out. Watching students and staff celebrate together in a display of unity makes me immensely proud to be part of our school.

🌈Thank you to our amazing Year 6 students and teachers for bringing us all together for this important event.

🦸‍♂️Today our students and staff dressed up as Super Heros to raise awareness for people with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder).

💰We raised $1005.30 in gold coin donations for Aspect Australia. Students put their gold coin in cups with Year 6 student and staff photos on them to nominate the person they wanted ‘Rainbowed’. The cups that had the most donations were Mr Svensek, Mrs Hosie, Elsie and Harper.

🍪Students are also selling cookies today to raise more money.
