Worth a listen especially while so many services claim to be ‘inspired’ by Montessori or other philosophies so are just trying to sell you an aesthetic? Genuine Montessori by qualified Montessori teachers

Every parent makes the best choice they can for their child. ❤️
You’ve done the research. You’ve followed your instincts. Your child’s wellbeing has always been your priority.

But if your child’s kindergarten experience still isn’t delivering the confidence, independence, focus, communication, or school readiness you hoped for… it’s OK to rethink the path.

“School readiness” doesn’t mean pressure or worksheets.
It means being ready for the real expectations of big school:
✔ following directions
✔ recognising their name
✔ managing toileting
✔ developing concentration
✔ learning independence
✔ participating calmly in a group environment

Children don’t need Pythagoras in Kindy.
But they do deserve a kindergarten program that genuinely prepares them for what comes next.

At Gold Coast Montessori Kindergarten, preparation for school begins with respect for the child, purposeful learning, and real developmental understanding.

🚫 This is picture is NOT Montessori Kindergarten.

It’s beautiful.
But it’s not Montessori.

And that matters.

Our Montessori environments are lovely but isn’t just about aesthetics that are appealing to adults.

✔️ Real Montessori materials
✔️ Qualified Montessori educators (not just “inspired”)
✔️ A structured program building independence, focus & school readiness
✔️ Children learning real skills by exploring with materials that help children build understanding

If you’re choosing Kindy, don’t choose based on how it looks.

Come and see how it actually works.

Some people think this image is Montessori or Montessori inspired - but it is not. It’s lovely and very beautiful and I’m sure provides children with play opportunities but it’s not a Montessori inspired environment.

You are welcome to visit our Montessori kindergarten locally in Mudgeeraba and see a carefully prepared environment for yourself

Mudgeeraba Montessori Child Care - Gold Coast

I don’t have all the answers either but I do know that we need to meet the children where they are and a prepared Montessori environment does that for each child individually as well as the collective group. With routines and predictability allowing all children to grow in confidence and ability.

“We almost stayed… because changing felt too hard.”

A Gold Coast mum shared this with us recently:

“My son was unsettled every morning. I kept thinking it would get better.”

“It didn’t.”

“Within 2 weeks of starting Montessori, he was walking in confidently. No tears. No stress.”

“He’s calmer at home too… more independent. I didn’t expect that from child care.”

Sometimes it’s not your child.

It’s the environment.

If you’ve been waiting for a sign — this is it.
