• challenging every student through diverse experiences to develop their confidence and unlock their potential

As National Reconciliation Week comes to a close, we are proud to share the reflections and artwork of our Prep students.

Following a Welcome to Country and collaborative art experience, our youngest learners explored what it means to be "All In" through conversations about Country, belonging and community.

Their artwork and reflections revealed three powerful themes: ❤️ Love, 🌿 Land and 👥 People.

💬 "My world shows that I love everybody."

💬 "I drew a sunflower to show that I feel connected."

💬 "I like people joining art around me."

Through curiosity, creativity and conversation our Prep students demonstrated that reconciliation begins with understanding, inclusion and learning from one another.

🧜‍♀️🐠⭐ "Dreams can come true" - Our students proved just that with their remarkable performances ⭐🐠🧜‍♀️

Our Grade 6 students made a splash with The Little Mermaid Jr. musical production. Audiences were left wanting more with students energised and excited for the shows to arrive after months of rehearsals and planning.

All students were involved in the production either backstage or onstage, and came together to entertain our community over three shows in May.

Ms Sasha Fritchley, Toorak College Grade 6 teacher marvelled "It was amazing to witness the transformation of these wonderful students and see their confidence grow from the very first rehearsals to what they produced onstage, they should all be very proud as are all of the staff involved" 🩵

Congratulations to all involved! 👏👏

🖤💛❤️ National Reconciliation Week 2026 🖤💛❤️

This morning, our students gathered for a Smoking Ceremony to mark the beginning of National Reconciliation Week 2026.

Our Junior School Captains, students reflected on this year’s theme, 'All In' - a message centred on unity, inclusion, shared responsibility and walking forward together. Students were encouraged to consider how each of us can be “all in” through respect, reconciliation and building a future grounded in understanding, connection and community.

We were honoured to welcome Uncle Shane and Jacinta from the Bunurong Land Council to Toorak College for this morning's Smoking Ceremony and Welcome to Country, acknowledging the land on which we live, learn and gather each day.

Throughout the week, students in Wardle House will continue exploring the significant events, voices and moments that have shaped Australia’s reconciliation journey through assemblies, wellbeing activities and learning experiences. Our Senior School students will continue these important conversations and commemorations next week.

💜Community Service in Action💜

Last Friday, Toorak College was proud to partner with for the Mornington Peninsula event.

Our students loved cheering on the incredible trekkers taking on the 20km, 30km and 50km courses and kept everyone fueled with motivational bananas and jellybeans along the way! 🍌✨

What an inspiring day of community spirit, determination and encouragement for all involved!

Is your daughter Ready For Tomorrow?

At Toorak College, students are encouraged to be part of something bigger than themselves - developing a strong sense of community, compassion and purpose, while learning the importance of giving back and empowering others. 💙✨

✨ Meet our next featured Collegian: Laura Buck (TC 2005), Director of The Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation, working to create a world where all children thrive through her leadership in philanthropy, partnerships and community impact.

Girls who are encouraged… are women who empower others. 🔥💫
