Our U14s Chifley College team played their Buckley Shield semi final at St Marys Stadium yesterday. Unfortunately the boys didn’t get the win, going down 24-16 against Bass High School.

It’s not the result we wanted but we’re proud of the boys making it to the top 4 in the NSW state knockout competition. 🙌🏈

Well done to the boys from Bidwill, Dunheved, Mt Druitt and Shalvey Campuses who came together to make up the 2025 team. 💙

Congratulations to our 2025 Chifley College U14s side who won the Buckley Shield Sydney West Rugby League Finals Day. We have now qualified in the final 16 teams in the state and will progress in to the state knockout competition. All the best to the boys from across the college! 🏈💙🤍

ELEVATED CULTURE 2024! 🌟

We’re excited to have three of our campuses performing at the Elevated Culture Festival this year.

The event is a celebration of talent and tradition, featuring performances from our local primary and high schools. The festival brings the community together to embrace and celebrate the rich cultural diversity that makes Western Sydney so unique.

This is your reminder about our 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 @ 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗶𝗻 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝟳. This is an important part of your transition into Year 11 at Senior Campus. It is an opportunity for you to get to know the teachers and school.

We really look forward to seeing you in Week 7!

A small group of Aboriginal students from across the college attended Kimberwalli for the second session of the Goanna Academy ‘Goanna Champions’ Program.🦎

The session today focused on building resilience, overcoming challenges and self-care. Students also heard from Cody Walker who shared some of his life journey including some of the challenges he’s faced and overcome throughout his life both personally and professionally playing in the NRL.

Our U14s Chifley College team travelled to Cessnock today for the NSW Combined High Schools Rugby League Buckley Shield Grand Final. Unfortunately the boys didn’t get the win, going down 36-22 in a tough game against Wadalba Community School. 🏈

Despite not coming away with the shield, we’re incredibly proud of the boys taking away runners up in the NSW state knockout competition - number 2 team in the state out of almost 400 schools who entered the competition this year. This is also the college’s first grand final appearance in this competition in over 5 years. 🙌

Well done to the boys from Bidwill, Dunheved, Mt Druitt and Shalvey Campuses who came together to make up the 2024 Chifley College team. Shoutout to our coaches Ryan Hutchen and Francis Nansen for all their work with the boys this year. 💙

A big congratulations to the Chifley College Buckley Shield team who are off to the grand final after winning their semi final game today.

The boys travelled up to Cessnock and came away with the win 28-20 in a hard game against Rutherford Technology HS.

A massive effort from the boys and the coaching staff who are now in the top 2 teams of the state knockout competition. The boys will play for the top spot in the grand final next month. 🏈💙
