🪐 Exploring Our Solar System in Stage 3! 🌎✨
Our Stage 3 students have been combining Science, Mathematics and creativity to design their own scaled “Pocket Solar Systems.”
Students applied their understanding of scale and distance to represent our solar system, while researching the planets to ensure their designs were as scientifically accurate as possible. The finished creations are now proudly displayed in the classroom — and they look fantastic!
A special shout-out to Seb A, who took on the challenge independently, developing his own mathematical scale and carefully researching each planet to accurately represent its colours and shading. An outstanding example of curiosity, persistence and going above and beyond in his learning.
