Today is our last day with our curious little chicks that we hatched last week!
They are off to stay with one of our amazing educators for a few more weeks until they no longer need to be inside under a heat lamp, then we hope to have a few of our feathered friends come back to live at Midvalley in our back garden, how eggsiting!!

Thank you to Henny Penny for the opportunity to have the experience of learning about how chickens hatch and to watching them grow!

We hope all of our children and families enjoyed our Henny Penny Hatchery as much as we did, honestly, how cute are baby chicks?

🐣 Something Exciting is Happening at Mid Valley Early Education! 🐣

Our little feathered friends are getting ready to make their grand entrance! 💛

The eggs in our incubator have started to hatch, and the children are eagerly watching this amazing process unfold. There has been so much excitement as we listen for little chirps, look for tiny cracks in the shells, and patiently wait to welcome our fluffy chicks into the world.

This hands-on experience provides wonderful learning opportunities as the

children explore:
🌱 The life cycle of a chicken
🥚 How living things grow and change
💛 The importance of patience, care and responsibility
🔍 Observation and discovery through real-life experiences

We’ll be sharing plenty of updates and photos over the coming days as more chicks hatch!

We can’t wait for our Mid Valley families to meet our newest little arrivals. 🐥💙

Enrolments for 3 yr old and 4yr old kinder programs for the 2027 year CLOSE on Tuesday 30 June 2026.

Reminder Free Kinder provides up to 15 hours of free kindergarten per week for your child.

For children who get an enrolment here at MidValley the only costs you will incur is if you book into Before and After Kindergarten Care or book into daycare for other days

Today we acknowledge National Sorry Day, a time to reflect on the history and ongoing impact of the Stolen Generations. We honour the strength and resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and recognise the importance of truth, healing and reconciliation.
Today our Educators will be wearing a splash of Purple in support of this day. 💜

Tomorrow is our annual Mat Hatters Tea Party!
We all dress up in our favourite wonderland costumes and come together for a fancy but also a little bit mad Morning Tea!!

We are all so excited to see the amazing dress ups and the spark of wonder on the children's faces!
