Something WILD is coming! 🌴

Our Secondary students have been busy rehearsing, singing and dancing in preparation for our upcoming production of Madagascar: A Musical Adventure!

💙🙌 Pop Up Friday – Serve Like Jesus! 🙌💙

Our Primary students had a fantastic Pop Up Friday, centred around the theme “Serve Like Jesus.”

Pastor Lili began our evening by reminding students that following Jesus means showing kindness, love and care in the way we treat others.

Students then put this into action! They created cards for someone special, before painting their hands and leaving their handprints on the cross as a reminder of their commitment to serve and show Jesus’ love to others. ✋✝️

Even our games had a twist! In the final challenge, the goal wasn’t to beat the other team, it was to help the other team win! A fun way to learn that serving means putting others before ourselves.

And, of course, no Pop Up Friday would be complete without finishing the evening with some yummy food and time together! 🍰😋

A wonderful evening of faith, fun and connection, reminding our students that sometimes the simplest way to be like Jesus is to serve like Jesus. 💙

🦁🐘 Learning Beyond the Classroom 🐘🦁

Our Classrooms 18–20 recently enjoyed an exciting excursion as part of their Project-Based Learning (PBL) unit.

Students are currently designing their own zoo enclosures, with a strong focus on animal ethics and creating environments that support the wellbeing of the animals.

During their visit, students discovered how modern zoos enrich the lives of animals through engaging activities, thoughtfully designed habitats, and opportunities to express their natural behaviours. They also learned how careful enclosure design plays a vital role in promoting animal welfare and conservation.

Experiences like these bring learning to life, giving students authentic insights they can apply to their own designs and helping them think critically about the responsibility we have to care for God’s creation.

We can’t wait to see the innovative zoo enclosures our students create!

🇰🇷🙏 A Wonderful Sabbath of Worship and Fellowship 🙏🇰🇷

Today we had the privilege of visiting the Korean Seventh-day Adventist Church in Marion to share about Prescott College Southern and our upcoming Restore One mission trip to Cambodia later this year. Mr Hodges shared the stories from last years trip and Jena shared her experience in Korean with her church members.

It was a blessing to worship alongside such a warm and welcoming church family. One of the highlights of the morning was watching Lian, one of our Year 3 students, confidently lead out in Sabbath School by sharing the story of David. We were so proud of the way Lian is contributing at his local church.

Thank you to the Marion Korean Church for your generous hospitality and encouragement. We especially appreciated being invited to stay and enjoy a delicious lunch together, along with the opportunity to build new friendships and strengthen our shared mission.

We are grateful for your support and prayers for our school and as we prepare for our Restore One trip to Cambodia, where we look forward to serving others and sharing God’s love.
