Our Junior Chemistry course 2 is in full swing! In our most recent online lesson, our young scientists turned their kitchens into labs to explore the colourful world of acid-base indicators.

Students:
- Created Natural Indicators: Extracted vibrant purple dye from red cabbage to act as a pH tester.
- Tested Household Items: Discovered if substances like vinegar, bicarb soda, and soap are acids or bases based on colour changes.
- Explored Floral Chemistry: Experimented with flower petals to see which ones act as natural pH indicators.

We're excited to jump into Junior Physics in a couple of weeks ⚡

Millie has been coming along to our General Science classes over the last few terms. She brings such energy and enthusiasm for hands-on science, and last week she was aired on Gardening Australia where she showed such passion for the incredible natural world in which we live!
