Learning Story: Celebrating Diwali with Joy and Creativity 🌟

We started our day by making paper plate diyas. Everyone used bright colors, glitter, and paper flames to create their own beautiful diya. As we crafted, we talked about the importance of diyas during Diwali. We learned that diyas are lit to celebrate light over darkness and good over evil. They also bring joy, warmth, and hope to everyone’s homes.

After our craft, we sang a cheerful Diwali song together. We clapped, danced, and sang with big smiles on our faces. The room was filled with laughter and festive cheer! We all joined in to sing “Happy Diwali”—because Diwali is for everyone to enjoy and celebrate together.

This joyful experience helped us learn about Diwali traditions, practice fine motor skills while crafting, and build a sense of community and togetherness through music and celebration.
