Week 3 at GymbaROO π¦π
This week:
Older children β Lion week
Younger babies β Car week
Our older groups will be using lots of strength and big movements β climbing, crawling, and moving with control like strong lions.
For our babies, weβre focusing on simple movement and watching β rolling cars, following with their eyes, and building early focus.
If youβd like, bring along something to match the theme β a lion or a car.
See you in class π
Every wonder why we use a stamp at Gymbaroo?
Our stamp matches our theme every week. This term our theme is Animals Of The World ππ΅π¦
Our stamp helps your child to learn their left and right sides!

π Week 2: Monkey
This week weβre jumping on our GymbaROO flight and heading into the jungle for Monkey week πβοΈ
Weβll be exploring climbing, hanging and swinging β building strength, coordination and confidence along the way.
Iβm really looking forward to seeing what the children come up with when we talk about monkeys β bananas, trees, swingingβ¦ or something completely different. Always fun to hear their ideas.
Also, come and have a look at what I put together over the weekend π (a little hint in the video!)
See you in class!

Our large equipment here at Gymbaroo Mooroolbark has many different aspects for all the different age groups that come. We have something for everyone! Take a look at how our equipment can help your child:
Level 1 - Platypus - Birth to Crawling
Our barrel tunnel is perfect for our youngest babies, it can be rocked side to side but is big enough that it is not too dark!
Level 2 - Wombat - Crawling to Walking
Our wedge is on an angle that can support our wombats to crawl and roll. The added gravity supports them to move!
Level 3 - Penguin - Walking to 18 Months
Our balance beam set can be used as a cruising and walking bar. This provides a safe and supportive place for your child to walk.
Level 4 - Koala - 18 Months to 2 Years
Our fort has many different aspects, a ladder to climb, a door to open and close, and different levels to climb up and explore.
Level 5 - Wallaby - 2 Years to 2.5 Years
Our seesaw rocker is a fun vestibular game for your child. It challenges their climbing, works on their balance and boosts their imagination. This rocker can be anything, from a spaceship to a horse!
Level 6 - Kangaroo - 2.5 Years to 3 Years
Our cone and stick course is an opportunity for your child to practice their two feet jumping at different heights, as well as recieve sensory input through the artifical grass.
Level 7&8 - Possum & Emu - 3 Years until School
Our school readiness program, from 3 Years until they leave for school, provides many challenges and opportunities for your child. We include pattern recognition, balance and fine motor skills games and social development activities. On this trapeze your child can do flips, spins and hanging to build their muscle strength.
