Your beautiful Pixel Mosaic, and it's creator Mic, have been recognised by the Minister for Science and Innovation, Leeanne Enoch at the Advance Queensland launch.

Mic was one of ten digital champions recognised for his contribution to digital literacy and technology innovation across the state of Queensland by the Advance Queensland initiative as part of the Digital Economy Strategy through Digital Queensland.

Did you see the Pixel Mosaic wall on Sunday? it was quite the spectacle as hundreds of people used their brain waves to control the 4.5m digital tug-of-war game. Players got to better understand how the health of their mind can be affected by distractions from the outside world and how to find a place for focused, calm attention even in a busy environment.

The secret is out!! Mic and the Pixel Mosaic team will be hosting The Wonder Games at the USC Imaginarium on 9th August. Entry is FREE and you won't find this anywhere else- come along, it will be EPIC!

The Buddina Art show was an amazing event with great artwork from the students and professionals. This was our first time dedicating the entire mosaic to an entire school (all students from grades 2-6) and it was the most successful event yet for kids, parents and teachers. It was our first time creating individual printed certificates for each child too which was a huge hit. Check out the word cloud for the most common words used as there are some surprising entries! Thanks to everyone who participated and to the amazing teachers and principal who were so accommodating. We had a blast!

Buddina State School grades 2-6 (470 students) are expressing themselves in colour and exploring the world of Pixel Mosaic in preparation for the Buddina Art Show 12th-14th June 2015. Some really beautiful entries coming in already and a lot of laughs too. Thanks for having us Buddina State School!
