The children at Montrose Preschool have loved playing in dinosaur land this week!

Dinosaur small world play offers numerous benefits for children, including enhanced imagination, language development, problem-solving skills, and social interaction. Children can explore different scenarios, engage in imaginative storytelling, and develop fine motor skills by manipulating objects and building their own dinosaur world! We also introduced stories, songs and puppets to use this interest to extend literacy learning 🦕🦖🦕

Montrose preschool recognises the importance of play in the early years. We promote play at kindergarten and encourage parents to make time for unstructured free play in the home. Providing your child with sufficient time for unstructured free play is the most beneficial gift you can give!
