The 2026 VICSWIM Program Report is now live following another successful summer across Victoria.
Thousands of children built confidence in the water and developed essential safety skills, thanks to the incredible efforts of teachers, venues and program partners.
It’s a powerful reminder of the impact accessible, community-based learn to swim programs have in creating safer, more confident communities.

Over the past 3 weeks, more than 16,000 kids took part in VICSWIM Summer Kidz, building skills, confidence and water-safe habits across Victoria. We are so proud of you all!!

VICSWIM Day 1 was full of smiles, skill-building and sunny vibes across the state.
Our launch event in Sunbury brought together Kathy Parton (Aquatics & Recreation Victoria ), Minister for Community Ros Spence MP and Josh Bull MP for Sunbury —thank you for championing learn-to-swim and water safety in Victoria, and thanks to Hume City Council for the warm welcome.
