Today we recognise IDAHOBIT — the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersexism and Transphobia.

Recently, our Communications Team sat down with staff and students to explore what Love and Acceptance means within the Huntingtower community. Through honest conversations and personal reflections, students and staff shared the importance of kindness, understanding and creating a place where everyone feels seen, valued and supported.

Today our students will gather for the 5th annual House Performing Arts Carnival.

From colour and songs to plenty of Disney moments, the energy is set to be high from start to finish. And of course there will be no shortage of smoke in the air (thanks Troy).

From 2027 we are excited to also have a Huntingtower Principia Scholarship for our students wanting to study abroad!

We were delighted to welcome back several Huntingtower alumni, who returned to speak with students about their university experiences across both the creative and medical fields.

Their insights offered a valuable glimpse into life beyond school, from choosing a pathway and navigating tertiary study to pursuing areas of genuine interest and purpose.

Where are they now?

Our alumni continue to pursue diverse pathways beyond Huntingtower, each shaped by their interests, values and aspirations. From further study to careers and community impact, their journeys reflect the many ways a Huntingtower education extends beyond the classroom.

This week, we highlight Avaya Pola.

Since graduating in 2024, Avaya has begun her studies in Oral Health, taking her first steps towards a career in the healthcare sector. With a focus on practical skills and patient care, she is building a pathway centred on making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
