Joanne has been in the early childhood field since 1990 and has worked in a few different positions and age groups in Australia and overseas. For the last 16 years Joanne has worked locally as a Kindergarten teacher. Joanne is a Forest School leader level 3 with an extensive history of training educators across Queensland.

Tonight was the 2nd in a 3 part series of online training by the staff of Mitchell EEC, a rural service who are committed to providing amazing environments for their families and communities.
One of the tasks for tonight was to share photographs of their play spaces.
An amazing educator took photographs from a child's perspective-on the ground looking up-which provided valuable insight into how children experience their learning environment.
This reflective process supported thoughtful conversations about possible changes.
As we converse and learn more about adventurous play opportunities-this training aims to support all members in their community to be curious explorers through measurable, manageable yet challenging experiences.
