Heatherdale Preschool has been a part of the community for over 55 years with many children participating in our programs during this time. They are patient, gentle and nurturing in their approach. They also stimulate and challenge our children to learn and explore.

Our team is once again engaged in the 24 hour stop work due to the Allan Governments lack of commitment to respect kinder teachers and educators, through fair pay and addressing excessive work load. This is a historical day for Victorian kinder teachers.

We are getting excited for tonight’s celebration of the one and only Geraldine Andreatta. We are looking forward to lots of past families popping in to show your appreciation of her 29 years. We are sure there will be a many stories and maybe a few tears.

It was wonderful to welcome Sonja Terpstra MP and newly elected Matt Gregg member for Deakin. As well as Whitehorse council Mayor Andrew Davenport and Deputy Mayor Prue Cutts. And Liberal member Nick McGowan MP. As well as past and current teacher’s with many past and current committee members. We officially opened our renovation of the new room, allowing us to offer more places for three and four year olds. We also proudly named our existing room the Andreatta room in honour of 24 years of service. Great job Heatherdale much to celebrate.
