You have to enjoy the process or there’s just no point at learning at all since it’s a never ending journey of constant improvement and trial and error!

A γ“γ˜γ‚‰γ›η”·ε is a guy who hasn’t emotionally matured yet particularly around romance. So it’s a guy with little relationship experience, low self-worth, and instead of just approaching things straight they read into things, assuming rejection before it happens! πŸ“šπŸŽŒ

This is the reality for Japanese if you want to actually get fluent within a reasonable amount of time say two years or so. These 4 hours aren’t all active study time tho maybe 1-2 hours is then the rest is passive immersion. Realistically for most people it’s more than possible to get more than 4 hours of passive listening while going throughout other tasks during their day. But without mass listening in some form learning Japanese is impossible 🎌

When you understand the two part model of Japanese speaking it makes it super clear that input and immersion alone will never allow you to just randomly speak well out of nowhere πŸŽŒπŸ“š

Sometimes you are just better off not questioning things too much, just picking one method of learning Japanese and just going all in on it 🎌

You gotta set realistic expectations for yourself like don’t be learning a couple words a day and then a year later be shocked you haven’t made any noticeable progress. Learning a new language is like downloading an entire new operating system for your brain it’s no small task!

You’ll never hear real Japanese in scripted content like tv or dramas it just misses out on so many vital aspects of the language

Mass listening to podcasts and YouTube to learn Japanese is unbeatable

Japanese might be the easiest language in the world to speak badly the amount of people I see easily getting by living in Japan for like 10 years with some of the worst Japanese you’ll hear is crazy πŸ˜‚
