And the battle begins!

The Spanish Cat has its roots in Mexico, so it goes without saying that we adore El Dia de Los Mu***os or what may look a bit like Halloween. This beautiful illustration really amused us as it represents our deep feelings for both holidays.

One thing to note is that we can't say: ¡Feliz Dia de Los Mu***os! It's not necessary, and it doesn't work.
We'll talk more about what to say at Christmas later.
One more note, to translate your phrase, it's begging to look like we could use:
'Ya huele a.../ Ya se ve como...' 😉

Is anyone feeling this way?
We love how English has this capacity and flexibility of creating a play on words. It happens in Spanish as well, but English can be wittily delightful.
Do you know what are we saying? Comment your thoughts and encounters with irregular verbs and how this joke translates perfectly well in English and Spanish (That is really hard to achieve)
