We attended the "Hands On Experience to Incorporate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander" workshop and had the honour of learning from a wonderful lady from an Aboriginal background.
Our team walked away with practical, meaningful ways to bring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, stories, and perspectives into our childcare program — because we believe every child deserves to learn about and celebrate Australia's rich First Nations heritage from the very beginning. 🌿❤️🖤

In our room, we've set up a beautiful emotions activity where children can explore how they're feeling, draw in the sand, and see their expressions in the mirror. 🪞✨
🤔 Did you know? When children learn to name and express their emotions from an early age, it builds emotional resilience, empathy, and stronger social skills for life!
Sand drawing is also a wonderful sensory experience — calming, creative, and so much fun! 🏖️
