Sleepy Jamz - RNB
It’s a unique sound, with some smooth loops, deep kicks and soft groove, interesting vocal effects and interesting lyrics. Sleepy Jamz is definitely a light night, late train sort of song.
I loved the first sample used in the song was a perfect choice, it sets the reluctant but accepting tone of the rest of the song. The second verse has a lot in it, I can relate to that feeling of wanting to give someone space but still wanting to talk to them. The grove and tone of the track immediately takes me off to a more relaxed place, drowning out everything and focusing me just on the track.
The only thing I’m not a fan of is the vocals for the second chorus, I don’t think they fit in with the rest of the track, but apart from that I love the samples, the loops, and the guitar lyric playing through the song creates an amazing space. Awesome track can’t wait to hear more from you
Finally if you liked it, give this post a like so it gets shared around some more. (this seriously helps a lot!)

Slow down – Indi Rock
Just like the last track I reviewed by them, this song is awesome. The intro creates an amazing sense of space, and we get to hear some nice clean vocals. The track has a huge sound the whole way thought, and some amazing mixing once again.
I am in love with the chorus of this song, the vocal doubles are perfect. The sense of space and size is beautiful, thanks to the use of stereo effects and the stereo space. The lyrics are a little repetitive and simple, and although it gives it this relaxing memorable sound, it just sort of drags on at times. The mixing is once again amazing, throughout most of the song but just when the track gets full, elements start to get lost, and I just wish the track was clearer so I could hear more of the song.
Awesome huge, relaxing track check it out.

Not Mine – Alternative
Awesome guitar work, killer vocals, just an awesome track to listen too. I love the changes of pace and texture during the song, and the chorus is so smooth.
I love to mention the bass work in this track too, it’s super tight and nice and driving. The way the track is mixed too is spot on, whoever you go to mix it, pay them extra. Everything is super clear, with only the guitars getting lost from time to time, but that gives it that alternative feel. The vocals are distorted just enough to give it the alt sound, but not so much that you lose definition.
As for the lyrics and composition, the song just flows well.
Although it makes me want to hear a cleaner version, especially because I know the vocals would sound amazing with a bit less distortion. The way the track builds and falls is awesome, and it has that wall of sound thing going on but not overbearing, but then drops right back to just a few elements.
Awesome relaxing track check it out.

Hi everyone, because of the way Facebook works not all of you are going to see all the posts that mane studios makes, it’s to stop spam. SO if you do hear a song you like IT’S CRUCIAL, that you click that like button, because otherwise the rest of Facebook will not be able to hear this awesome music.
That goes for other pages too not just us, likes help more than you know on Facebook, and shares are gold, they help even more.
Don’t like and share everything though, just the stuff you actually like and want to share. But realise it helps pages like us, and the musicians we help out; we work for free, so we can’t always pay for advertising ourselves, so you awesome people are how we work around that.
Thanks hope you enjoy the music.

All Track
All in my Mind
With its interesting song composition that soft and some, but then flips on its head and becomes a little twisted and atonal, before moving back to soft and smooth. This track is defiantly and interesting one but it works well with the lyrics, and creates and interesting experience.
I love the use of composition that shows the difference between what, to then this whole shift that comes out of nowhere that makes you think the composer was a little ignorant or maybe they just missed something. At first I didn’t want to review this song, because I wasn’t sure what was going on with it, and I didn’t like how it seemed off. But after a few listens I realised that that was the intention of the song, and I came to like it. The only thing I would change about the track is the fact that the vocals are noisy and quiet, but past that it is an amazing track.
If you’re into music that’s different in a good way, you should defiantly check it out, and if you’re not check this song out it might sway your opinion.

Scias
Prelude to The Bad Thing
Some amazing tight guitar work, with a huge but relaxing sound. Sometimes it’s just nice to listen to a bit of instrumental music, and although it’s a little repetitive, the way the song builds on its sound helps creating that relaxing but huge feeling.
I think recommend sitting down and watching a few of Scias videos, they show off some amazing guitar work; especially the “Mark Holcomb Jamup Demo Endurance Test” which has an awesome sound and tightness too it. Every note on that this artist seems to play is tight, well emoted, and just beautifully smooth. My only complaint is that some of their compositions get rather repetitive, and it feels like they need a break down to release some tension in the track. Especially with the big sounds in this track, it would be amazing drop back to something simple, then be washed over with a huge wave of smooth sounds as the track moves into the last section. Go through and watch all of their videos on a lazy Sunday, it’s definitely worth it.

Dear Brother / Franz - o - Phil
A light acoustic peace, with heavy lyrics and deep meaning. It’s a relatable expression of the impact of loss with some amazing vocals and beautiful guitar work.
I know this might be a little bit of a downer, but this is for all the people dealing with loss right now. Even though it’s such a personal song, the emotion and the memories are soulfully relatable. Even though it’s a simple song, I think most of it’s content is in it’s lyrics, and all it needs is just something light to carry the vocals, I think the light acoustic guitar is a perfect choice but I feel like a soft piano would help fill the song out. The vocals on this track are amazing, and I feel like this is another under discovered talent that could put quite a few famous people to shame. You can hear the emotion and it helps the listener understand the sorrow and emotion of the track.

Colout/Form (Ep/Album)
An amazing late night experience, that wisks you off to another place. This relaxing album doesn’t challenge any ideas or push any boundaries but it sometimes you don’t want that, you just need some amazing music to escape too. And this album is perfect for that.
I love reviewing music at night time, just for songs like this. I’m currently sitting in a 24hour cafe at 2am, and this album is just the best thing to listen too right now. From the get go the album takes you to it’s own land, and if it wasn’t for the coffee I would just close my eyes and drift off. It’s hard to pick a favourite track on this album because of how nice they all are, and how they all flow together. But I did really enjoy the first track “Sometimes Want To Be Gone”, just for it’s distant vocals, and overall soundscape.

The Masquerade
SOLO (ep)
With its awesome flow, heavy beats, awesome sampling, a light-hearted but still serious sounding this ep is definitely worth checking out.
“Took us 2 days to complete this. Production: Kno.1 & Shim.K “
So this is coming up a bit later than I intended, we had a problem getting to a stable internet connection. So let’s get to it, first track up is “Throne” heavy, serious and a sub rumbler for sure. It would sound awesome turned up driving around, enjoying the flow, and ego inflating lyrics. I did take something away from the track though, in its lyrics. The lyricist owns his ego, and all their cladistics talking about how that’s what drives them, instead of letting people use that to push him down.
Next up is “R.O.C” this would have to be my favourite track on the album, it has an awesome old school sampling vibe about it. Sitting between Throne and No Time, it’s nice to have a lighter track, which matches it’s lighter-hearted nature. I got to credit them again on the lyrics on this EP, I really relate to how they are about owning your confidence, and just going at greatness.
Finally is “No Time” featuring Sahi and Kno.1, an awesome way to finish up the ep. The vocals during the chorus are amazing and so smooth. We also get another taste of that old school sampling. The song its self is very dynamic, changing a few times in groove and sound, sounding aggressive then moving to a sadder, darker sound towards the end.
I really enjoyed this whole ep and its tracks like these that a slowly shifting my opinion of rap music. I feel like there is a lot more to this ep then I first expected, and it’s worth listening though a few times just to make sure you get everything. Can’t wait to hear what these guys come up with next.
