We are excited to run a one day workshop with international actor ‘Andy McPhee’ and Hollywood’s mindfulness, meditation coach ‘Val Joy’ from AYM Studios.
Andy has an extensive list of credits for his acting such as ‘Sons of Anarchy, Criminal Minds, Saving Mr Banks, City Homicide and more. Andy has recently secured a role in one of Australia’s big budget films and is excited to coach for this workshop before leaving to Australia to film.
Andy has coached his son ‘Kodi Smit- McPhee ‘ who has recently been awarded an Oscar nominee for the ‘Power of the dog.’
As creatives we sometimes second guess ourselves. This workshop is about getting out of your head, trusting your intuition and getting out of your own way by just taking the action and doing it. (and see what occurs)
This one day intensive will also help actors who have traveled from overseas to pursue their career in LA, who may struggle with their natural accent, learning to be comfortable reading scripts and the English language.
