Happy Birthday to Our Fundamental Teacher, Shakyamuni Buddha ｜ 恭祝本师释迦牟尼佛圣诞

On the 8th day of the fourth lunar month, we celebrated the sacred birthday of our Fundamental Teacher, Shakyamuni Buddha.
农历四月初八，我们迎来本师释迦牟尼佛神圣的圣诞吉日。

According to the Lotus Sutra, Shakyamuni Buddha had in fact attained Buddhahood countless eons ago. Yet, out of infinite compassion, He manifested in this world to guide and liberate sentient beings from suffering.
据《妙法莲华经》记载，释迦牟尼佛久远劫前早已成就佛果。只因大悲无尽，倒驾慈航、应化世间，教化众生、拔除一切烦恼痛苦。

Happy Birthday to Bodhisattva Manjushri 恭迎文殊菩萨圣诞

On the 20th of May, the 4th day of the fourth lunar month, we commemorate the sacred birthday of Bodhisattva Mañjuśrī 🪷✨🙏

Bodhisattva Mañjuśrī is one of the four great Bodhisattvas in Chinese Buddhism and is revered as foremost in wisdom. In Mahayana Buddhism, He is regarded as the teacher of countless Buddhas and a great guiding Bodhisattva upon the path to enlightenment.

Bodhisattva Mañjuśrī also vowed to attain rebirth in Amitabha Buddha’s Pure Land and guide sentient beings there. Both Mañjuśrī and Samantabhadra Bodhisattvas aspired to be reborn in the Land of Ultimate Bliss, setting the supreme example for all Bodhisattvas.

In the Avatamsaka Sutra, the forty-one great Bodhisattvas ultimately follow Mañjuśrī and Samantabhadra Bodhisattvas to Amitabha Buddha’s Pure Land. Why? Because Buddhahood can be attained there most swiftly, perfectly, and safely.

The 4th Patriarch of Chinese Pure Land Buddhism, Master Fazhao, once encountered Bodhisattva Mañjuśrī and asked:

“What is the best method for beings to cultivate during the Dharma-ending Age?”

Bodhisattva Mañjuśrī replied without hesitation:
“Nianfo (Amitabha-recitation) is the best practice.”
He further explained that it was through Nianfo and making offerings to the Three Jewels in past lives that He Himself realised Buddhahood.
