Why would we want to run a tea company?
We are crazy of course and yes we love tea.
We also wanted to create a business that not only is Australian owned but manufactured as much as possible in Australia. So to begin with we only offered loose leaf tea, until we were able to import a machine that allows us to make our own pyramid teabags (very exciting for us).
Where possible, we use other Australian companies. This is reflected in our tins, labels and bags which are all manufactured here in Australia.
We are helped out by our extended family and friends and couldn't function without them.
Yes we drink our whole range and have favourites from time to time. We do blend and flavour our own teas. Probably the blend with the most love, sweat and tears (sweat & tears not included in the end result though !) would be the Chai. The results are worth it.
For us tea is all about taste, taste, taste. It doesn't matter if you're happy or sad, if it's raining or sunny. If the tea tastes great, it will always lift a mood or show a silver lining. But if it's not right then everything else is spoilt.
So when looking for tea, taste is what it is all about.
