Just a reminder, everyone is welcome to join us tomorrow.

Today we were honoured to join the Anzac Day march and commemoration at the Warrandyte RSL.
We are grateful to all those who have served and sacrificed for our nation.
Lest we forget.

Thankyou to our student leaders who brought together our school community for a special Anzac Day assembly. Listening to the sounds of the last post, reflective poetry, singing and Auslan signing, we honoured and remembered those who have made sacrifices for our country.

What better way to end the term than a four hour dance marathon?
That’s exactly what our Victorian State Schools Spectacular dancers did when they joined over a hundred students from local schools for the first regional rehearsal of the year.
It’s going to be an awesome show on Saturday August 29 at John Cain Arena - save the date!

We’re so proud of our student performers who kicked off the party on the festival stage yesterday! Fabulous energy from our Victorian State Schools Spectacular dancers, and expressive singing and Auslan signing of “True Colours” and Gumtrees” by over seventy students from years 1-6👏

WPS brought colour and community spirit to the Warrandyte festival parade with our “It Takes a Village” entry 💛"Big hearts, helping hands".

Featuring bold Pop Art–inspired hearts and hands, every student contributed to celebrating the amazing volunteers who support our school. Led by Mr Dangles, our Keith Haring–inspired heart, the entry was a reflection of creativity and teamwork.

We’re also thrilled to have won the Most Colourful Award 🌈.

What a fantastic start to the school year at Warrandyte Primary School!

It’s been wonderful to welcome everyone back — from our newest Prep students experiencing their very first days of school, to familiar faces returning ready for a new year of learning. We’ve already jumped into classroom routines, enjoyed our first sports events, reconnected with old friends and made new ones.

There were plenty of smiles from staff and students alike, and a very excited queue to see Winston, our much-loved therapy dog, after the break.

Everyone has settled in beautifully — we can’t wait for all that this year will bring!
