Messy hands. Big thinking.
Oobleck experiments are so much more than a science activity. Through play, curiousity and shared problem-solving, children build perspective-taking, communication, teamwork and emotional regulation, all in ways that are joyful, safe and genuinely engaging.
When children feel connected, magic happens✨️

Sometimes the school term moves so fast that concerns keep getting pushed aside.
"We'll see how next term goes."
"They might grow out of it."
"They're coping enough for now."
Then suddenly another term has passed - and things still feel hard. Holiday intensives can create the space to properly understand what a child or young person needs, without the pressure of the weekly school rush.
At Gameplan, holiday intensives may include:
- Targeted reading and spelling support
- Sentence construction and writing skills
- Play-based social emotional learning
- Assessments for autism, speech and language, dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia
- Disability Inclusion funding and reviews
The right support at the right time can change how a child experiences the next school term.

The school term doesn't leave much room to breathe.
Homework. Exhaustion. Masking. Burnout.
By the time many families seek support, everyone's already running on empty.
That's why holiday intensives can work so well.
They create space for deeper support such as:
- Discrete phonics targets for reading and spelling
- Sentence construction and writing skills
- Play-based social emotional learning support
- Assessments for autism, speech and language disorders, dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia
- Disability Inclusion funding applications
- NDIS applications and reviews
Sometimes a few focused sessions can shift the direction of an entire term.

You’ve got the reports.The tutor.The advice.
But you’re still thinking—
“What do I actually do next?”
That’s the gap.
Not more therapy.Not more information.
Clarity.

“I don’t need more therapy.I need to know what to do next.”
We hear this every week.
Not every child needs weekly sessions.
But every parent needs a plan.
What to focus on.What actually works. What can wait.
Because holding all the pieceswithout a roadmap?
That’s the hard part.
Come talk with us. We can help.

Fine at school.Falling apart at home
Or—
Fine at home.Struggling at school.
This isn’t random.
It’s what happens when the demands change across environments.
Some children use everything they’ve got to get through the school day—following language, keeping up, managing social expectations—and there’s nothing left when they get home.
Others feel steady and supported at home, but school increases the load—more noise, more language, more pressure.
This is where support matters.Helping kids manage the load, not just survive it.

We often get asked to review school support plans.
At first glance, this looks supportive... right?
But look a little closer 👀
• “The school will determine…”
• “Any provisions not utilised will be removed”
• "...not guaranteed..."
These small phrases tell you a lot about how support is being understood.
Because under the Disability Standards for Education, adjustments are not:
— decided at discretion
— dependent on frequency of use
— offered conditionally
They are based on functional need and are provided to ensure equitable access
Access isn’t conditional.
It’s required.
