HI team, well it's been a minute.
Life has thrown a few very pleasant challenges at us lately and being in the water has taken a back seat, that's just the way life rolls.

BUT I'm so very pleased to announce the safe arrival of a new blue line diver to the clan, although she'll be a few years off blowing bubbles that aren't a bit milky!

I promise we're not far off getting back in the water, even on a social level and will aim for another group trip for 2025.

Ok, on the back of our PG2022 trip, I've already had a number of enquiries about the next one and facebook won't let me do a poll. So let's have your suggestions. For me, these are the considerations:
Non-diving related activities avail for family/partners to join

Opportunity to do OW course if partners/family want to train up while there and then join diving the rest of the week. This was very successful in PG and lead to some great inclusive travel

Ease of travel in/out

So some of the places I'm thinking of:
Return to Puerto Galera
Palau
Vanuatu (Santo)
Nusa Lembongan (Bali)

So let's hear it!

So finally home after the over nighter from Manilla after spending the week at Asia Divers/El Galleon Resort. And what a week it's been. The hospitality shown to us by the crew at Asia Divers, headed by Alison and her team is amazing, warm and welcoming. The resort is well equipped to deal with the travelling diver or beginner and the family in tow.

We saw amazing fish life, corals and even a pygmy seahorse. Even though viz at times was down due to a recent storm (that's diving), I never left the water disappointed. This was made even more memorable by our dive master team.

My dive team made for a memorable trip, with many levels of diving and life experience, all shared over a cold beer at the end of the night and a hearty laugh, fuelled by excellent food from the kitchen.

I would absolutely recommend a trip over there as an alternative to Bali for something different and also help support the communities as they rebuilt post covid.

I'll post a more detailed review after I've had a nap, but to all who made this possible, a heartfelt thanks and safe onward diving adventures!

Morning all! Unfortunately we've had one of our intrepid travellers and family come down with spicy cough right before travel and won't be able to join us.

So I'm trying my best to help soothe the soul a bit and help fill his spot and recoup some scheckles for the family.

Hi team! Just spent a day out on Agincourt reef with Martin from Scuba IQ and had an amazing time. He's an excellent instructor who I've trusted my family with, and have no hesitation recommending him for your family when you travel to Port Douglas or Cairns!

If he's good enough for me as an instructor to plug, you can rest assured he'll take great care of you!!

Keep an eye out for trips in FNQ coming up including Minke whale liveaboards and coral spawning trips!

It's just 68 days until we head for the Sunshine, warm waters and amazing conditions in the Coral Triangle for our PG2022 trip! I'm just a little bit excited for the adventures and hoping Breanna Szitarity brings her amazing sunnies!!!
