On a more personal sporting note, Andrew comes from a running background, having competed as an elite distance runner for 10 years. Andrew represented Australia on a number of occasions as a junior at the Youth Olympics and as a senior athlete in the Chiba Ekiden in Japan. His interest in massage started whilst training at the Australian Institute of Sport where he learnt self-massage and some other basic massage techniques. From there he went on to become a personal trainer furthering his interest and knowledge of the how the body works. Andrew currently is a goalkeeper for Camberwell hockey club, and running coach and no doubt the personal experiences are an invaluable part of his advise and management of athletes and anyone considering endurance events, achieving energy and vitality and performing at the highest level in sport or optimal level of health to your life.
