We can learn so much from witnessing the way of plants. Just look at flowers, they naturally unfold, revealing their true selves unapologetically. Plants remind us that we, too, can open up and let our divine authentic light be seen. When we speak of the plants, we are referring to them as beings who are fully alive and attuned to their surroundings.

Many traditions and ancient cultures understand plants as healers and recognise that the spirit of the plant has a unique capacity to touch and heal the spirit of a human being.

Let’s embrace this connection and allow ourselves to blossom and bloom like nature 🌀🍃

With everything happening in the world right now in relationship to disrespect and violence toward women, it can be natural to feel a sense of rage, disgust, shock, horror and defeat. This is a time to raise our voice, speak our truth, turn to prayer, and shine our light.

We call forth our voices
And break the silence down
Reclaiming these bodies, their cycles and their sounds
For I am a temple
A place of returning
This body is sacred
This soil is churning.

May this song be an offering to anyone who is feeling impacted by the current climate and the terrible truths that have been illuminated recently in the media.

We live in a maiden-centric society that glorifies youth and operates through a lens of hyper-individualism. Let’s have a deeper conversation about how this imbalance keeps us trapped in societal loops of separation, struggle, survival and agism.

As women, we move through many archetypal seasons of the womb on our journey of feminine maturation. In the season of maidenship, we are blessed with hormonal orchestration that supports us in being of deep service to the mothers and elders in our lives. Unfortunately, due to the demands of a capitalist, patriarchal, and linear society, young women’s values are often redirected toward self-focus, personal ambitions, and survival - This is not a personal attack, it is the illumination of a deep systemic issue.

Additional to this, we live in a social construct that moves away from communal living toward a nuclear family dynamic, perpetuating further separation. This systemic crack has seeped into our communities, often leaving mothers and elders deprived of the true village resources needed to thrive.

A small but powerful step we can take to heal this fragmentation within our village mentality is to orient our energy toward those who have walked the path of initiation before us. We must honor those who hold the torches of eldership with respect, generosity, and reciprocity.
This requires us to place mothers and elders at the center. In doing so, we create an ecosystem where all can thrive-a system capable of healing generations to come.
