As parents, we all want one thing - to know our children feel safe, supported, and truly seen đź’›
We are so delighted to have partnered with Safer Spaces and to welcome them to The Homeschool Kind as a founding business.
Safer Spaces offers holistic, child-centred Allied Health support for children aged 0-16, along with their families, carers, and educators.
At the heart of their approach is a simple but powerful belief - that every child is an individual and the expert in being themselves.
From there, support can be tailored in a way that truly meets them where they are, creating an environment where they can feel safe, confident, and able to thrive.
Founders Josh and Caitlyn share:
“We launched Safer Spaces in 2019 because we wanted to support children of all abilities with a neuro-affirming, strengths-informed approach for neuro-spicy folk. We believe that community and shared experience are by far the most valuable supports we can provide access to. Our therapy is play-based and interest-based, providing opportunities to build and share within the community space for everyone’s benefit and growth.”
Play-based therapy is such a powerful way to support children - allowing them to express themselves, build confidence, and develop important emotional and social skills in a way that feels natural and safe.
This is a service we are truly proud to have as part of our community.
Welcome, Josh and Caitlyn đź’›
