Bonbeach Life Saving Club Inc. Open during the summer season.
Bonbeach LSC is a friendly, family orientated Club run by volunteers for our wider community. We are committed to a diverse membership and welcome all those keen to participate in community service, education & training, and sport. Our volunteer activities include lifesaving training & education, beach patrol, and fun team & individual lifesaving sport opportunities for Nippers, Youth, Seniors/Adults and Masters.

At the end of National Volunteer Week we'd like to share this message from our Lifesaving Operations Manager:
While NVW is a special time to celebrate the dedication and commitment of volunteers for all organisations, I'd like to especially acknowledge our club volunteers and those from our neighbouring clubs who volunteer alongside us.
On behalf of the Lifesaving Operations Team I'd like to extend our thanks to all of our club members for everything you do to keep this club functioning, from our nippers and canteen team who help teach the next generation, those who help with maintenance and administration, our club board and everyone in between, your time and skills do not go unnoticed and we appreciate all you do.
And an extra special shoutout to our operational members, the lifesavers in the red and yellow who give up weekends, public holidays and just about every summers' day over 30 degrees to keep the public safe, we say thank you. And with the amount of incidents we attended last summer that had good outcomes due to your fast and professional response, I think it's clear the community appreciates you too!
So, as National Volunteer Week comes to a close for 2026, we say thank you to everyone who shares their time and passion.

As volunteer lifesavers we spend a lot of time in the sun. With every act of volunteer service we offer respect for those that have served before, for those that continue to serve, and for those that will continue to serve into the future.

Tomorrow we march!
ALL Bonbeach LSC nippers, patrollers, & families of those who have served in our armed forces are welcome to join us as we march behind the Bonbeach flag in respect for those who have served before us and for those who continue to serve.
Saturday 25th April 9.15am we will meet in the railway carpark at corner Station St & Sherwood Ave, Chelsea.
Nippers & Patrollers please check the BLSC Members Page for attire required.
At 9.30am we will march along Station St to the cenotaph at Chelsea Town Hall & the Chelsea Longbeach RSL. Look for the Bonbeach LSC flag being carried this year by youth patroller Charlotte Shannon who has volunteered 100+ hours this season.
We will participate in the wreath laying ceremony at the cenotaph. Young adult leaders Thomas Landstra (club treasurer & Bonbeach LSC open water swim director) & Jordan Walterfang (club lifesaving operations manager) will lay our club wreath during this ceremony.
We hope you will march with us, or share your respect alongside the route, on this important day of respect & reflection 🙏
