Announcing our guest artist for our November meetup, .tyr0ne 🦇

Dirk’s presentation focuses on their research and sound composition for a digital public artwork designed by Buko Studios. This composition, commissioned by the City of Melbourne Test Sites program, is the official launch of B.A.T.S. (Binaural Audio Telecommunications Systems), a sound research project that blends synthesis and ultrasonic echolocation. Under the B.A.T.S. moniker, Dirk references the science of echolocation to guide creative development and sound design techniques. This week-long exhibition will take place in the courtyard of Brown Alley (near Koreatown) in late November 2025.

This session will focus on the connections between creative development and production techniques.

Announcing our guest presenters AND venue upgrade!

Starting from the next meetup on August 20, we’ll be convening in The Show Room at ! Swipe for a sneaky peek.

We’ll have double the seating, a bigger sound system, a foyer and a bar open beforehand and more time for track feedback!

To celebrate, we decided it’s only appropriate to book double the guest presenters. Introducing two of our inner-circle members: aka Alexander Nezhinskiy and .dobsonharper aka FDH.

First, FDH peels back the layers on his track Carruthers, sharing the tricks behind its design and arrangement. Then evolsleep takes us inside his world of commercial sound design — from syncing music to visuals, to sparking fresh ideas and breaking creative blocks.

RSVP’s are open for our next meetup on August 20th. Bar opens at 6:30pm, launch at 7pm 🚀 LINK IN BIOOO
