Life can feel so meaningful and meaningless,

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what I really want,

It looks very different than it used to,

I’m not the same person,

Something that I find super useful when I know what I DON’T want but I’m clear on what I actually, really want…

Not for kids,

Not what I think I SHOULD want,

Not what I HOPE for,

Not what the world thinks,

Not what’s practical…

But me, little old Renée,

And when you’ve lived a life trying your hardest to not upset anyone or mindful of what people think, and when your dreams happen in and around all the things that come with being a Mum.

It’s hard to know what we truly want,

So I like to think about what I want people to say about me after I’m gone,

I write it down,

And that’s what I live and who I become,

Because you can’t leave a legacy if you don’t LIVE a legacy.

We’ve been taught to think our way into the life we want.

Change your thoughts.
Change your beliefs.
Change your reality.

But what happens when your mind is saying YES and every cell in your body is saying absolutely fu***ng not?

That gap matters.

Because you can convince yourself you want the business model.

The relationship.

The bigger goal.

The opportunity.

The version of success you’ve been chasing for years.

You can journal about it, affirm it, visualise it and create a very convincing argument for why you should want it.

But your body has its own language.

And this is where turn-on becomes so much more interesting than the s*xualised version we’ve reduced it to.

Turn-on is information.

It’s aliveness.
Attention.
Sensation.
Desire.
Energy moving towards something.

It’s Mind made alive in the body.

And when what you think you want and what you actually feel come back into relationship?

You stop fighting yourself.

You stop needing to drag yourself towards things that look right but feel dead.

You stop confusing somebody else’s desire with your own.

And you start recognising the current of your own YES.

Not because every decision needs to feel pleasurable or easy.

But because you know the difference between discomfort that asks you to expand...

and something that simply isn’t fu***ng yours.

I don't need your self-doubt to make my business profitable.

And I will NEVER make you feel like s**t about yourself so you'll buy from me.

Maybe that costs me sales.

Good.

Fifteen years ago, I created policies around how I would market, sell and lead.
No manufacturing fear.

No deliberately poking at someone's “not enoughness” so I can swoop in with the solution.

No positioning myself as the enlightened guru at the top of the mountain while you're the poor fu**er trying to catch up.

It's ick.

And it's a really s**tty foundation for any relationship.

I've lived and worked by the Universal Law of Service for 20 years.

I'm not above you.
I'm not below you.
I'm on the path with you.

I haven't “arrived.”

Truthfully, I don't believe there is a fu***ng destination.

I speak about taboo things.
I have strong opinions.

I'll challenge ideas and industry dogma all day long.

But I will NEVER build my platform by belittling someone else who's trying, finding themselves or doing their thing differently to me.

And if you work with me?
I want to know you.

I've paid for coaching where I had absolutely NO interaction with the actual coach beyond watching their prerecorded training.

Each to their own.
But that's not my jam.

You don’t need another fu***ng thing to work on.

Especially not yourself.

Women are so ridiculously hard on themselves.

I see it all the time.

The moment we feel exhausted, disconnected, unsure or like something isn’t quite clicking, we turn ourselves into another fu***ng project.

Journal more.
Ask better questions.
More affirmations.
Meditate more.
Exercise more.
Heal more.

More.
Always more.

And there is nothing wrong with more.

BUT.

What I see inside my client work is that the next right thing is rarely another thing to DO.

It’s usually the thing we’ve been trying to go over, under and around.

Our aliveness.

The embodiment of your erotic current.
Your yum.

Because regulation isn’t the destination.

Aliveness is.

There is a state beyond constantly managing yourself back to “safe.”

A state where you can feel fear AND move.
Uncertainty AND desire.
Discomfort AND pleasure.

Where you don’t have to get rid of one experience before you’re allowed to have another.

This is what I call the third nervous system state.

And your erotic current is an entry point.

Now, just for the record, erotic comes from Eros.

When the mind marries love we both pleasure.
THAT is the essence of the erotic current.

Not s*x.

Life force.

The current that switches you back on and brings you into relationship with what’s actually alive inside you.

So if you’re exhausted, disconnected and unsure of your next move...

Maybe the answer isn’t another fu***ng thing to work on.

Maybe it’s time to come alive.

There’s so much conversation about how hard it is when our kids leave home because we’ll miss them.

Of course we fu***ng will.

But I think there’s another grief we don’t name enough.

For years, there has always been someone else to consider before we even get to the question, “What do I want?”

So when the space finally appears, freedom can feel strangely confronting.

Not because there’s something wrong with you.

Because you’re meeting a woman you haven’t had this much space to know before.

And I don’t think our job is to “find ourselves again.”

I think we get to discover who the f**k we are now.

That feels much more exciting to me.
